A wide range of sensors are used in the alarmed installations; all are wireless operated and communicate with a discreet control panel located on the customer’s premises.  The control panel requires a mains supply, but is battery-backed in case of a failure in the supply.

During the period of the contract, the control panel is monitored constantly by our central control room.   In the event that the customer’s control panel is triggered by one or more of the sensors, the control room will alert our nearest mobile patrol to investigate the cause of the alarm.   During that period, if the alert escalates then the police, fire service or an ambulance will be alerted to attend the property.  The property will continue to be closely monitored until the alarm is re-set and our mobile patrols have indicated that everything is back to normal once more.

The sensors and the control panel installation will be tested regularly and maintained by Armadillo Corporation throughout the period of the contract.

If the customer decides to relocate to a different property, we will be pleased to relocate the equipment and commission the installation in the new location.

If the customer experiences a problem with any part of the installation, there is no need to phone us, just press the “talk” button on the control panel and our operators there will be pleased to help.

We can arrange for a SMS text message to be sent to a nominated mobile phone in the event of an alarm at the premises.  These messages would be sent from our central control room and only if the situation warrants such communication to be made – you will not receive false alarms from us or from our installations.
